No.3/Image 66 + No.50/Image 998-create a metaphorical link between these spaces. in Image 66, the figures are behind glass, silhouetted and The Gold Room sign is shown clearly. The curtain behind it is also prominent.
When you see Image 998, Jack has just returned from The Gold Room and Wendy reporting that Danny's bruises came from a crazy woman. The shot here is the silhouetted couple taking out of the background and made foreground. The yellow flowers of the bedroom take the place of the visual markers of "gold", as well as the flowery/fantasy effect that takes place (No.15, No.47, No.53).
Fantasy takes place in the bedroom: No.24, No.41, No.50 ("I think he did it to himself")
The fantasy of No.53 party is directly related to the No.50 fight: class, greed, belonging.
